Junkie in the Making

I have developed insomnia! What's odd is that this started when school started back up & it's lasted from Sun-today. On Saturday night, I slept like a baby. Coincidentally, this is the only day when I didn't open a school book. I'm no sleep doctor or anything but there seems to be a correlation between my insomnia and my books. So I've resorted to chugging Nyquil. You can only take so many days of 2-3 hours of sleep before you feel like a zombie. How I miss the summer days when I used to drink gallons of coffee at the office but was out like a light by 11pm.

Seems like African Americans who are about something are dropping off the face of the earth. Last week Bernie Mac died, yesterday LeRoi Moore of the Dave Matthews Band died, and today Stephanie Tubbs Jones died after suffering a brain aneurysm. She's was the U.S. representative for Ohio and I got to meet her when Hillary Clinton campaigned in town earlier this year (that's the picture I took of her). C'est la vie.
